So today was our hotel's official - holidays dress up day! We setup our X-mas tree in our lobby and brought out the decorations. Several of our staff pitched in to help. Now we just have to set the date for our staff holiday party. . . hmmm. . . I wonder which secret santa will be the best gift this year!

So today's newspapers were apparently of high demand in our area. All day today, we had people coming by and asking if they could buy the newspaper. I guess we could have sold them for $5 a piece! But we simply had to tell them that the papers are only for guests. . . "so if you spend the night, you are welcome to a paper!"

We just had our AAA inspection today. Our inspector is always very nice. . . very inquisitive. The inspection involves checking and rating cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and food serving areas. So we earned the prestigious 3 diamond award. Every year, it gets tougher and tougher to earn this award, but the reward is worth it. Guests know that we are capable of providing excellent customer service.

Our breakfast room has been transformed into a halloween fest!  Two dedicated hotel employees got together one afternoon, went shopping, and decorated the breakfast room and hotel lobby into a hallow eve's fest!  I'm sure the kids would love the decoration.  Now we just have to wait until Oct 31st!  Happy Halloween everyone!

This past weekend marked the end for this year's state fair. The food vendors had creatively been working over the past few months to create this year's top winner. The unique winning entry for this year was chicken fried bacon-battered dipped bacon and then deep fried! Yum (just kidding)! Do we really need this new concoction? We'll see everyone again next year for the fair and Texas OU game!

Loved your Texan hospitality. Experienced a very relaxing stay after a tiring all day business meeting . Loved your healthy breakfast options and the fitness center was just right for a early morning workout. My thanks to your courteous staff  for all their help in navigating the maze of Dallas area freeways. Will be back
