Three lakes to explore in Duncanville

When folks ask what’s so special about Duncanville, many might bring up it’s proximity to popular sports venues (AT&T Stadium, Global Life Park, etc), Six Flags, the Museum of International Cultures, etc. 

However, some would say an underlooked aspect in Duncanville is the beautiful lakes that the city is home to. Whether you want to canoe or just take in the beautiful water, Duncanville definitely has a couple of lakes that can fit most of your wants.

CEDAR RIDGE PRESERVE

Approximately ten minutes away from our Duncanville Hotel is the beautiful Cedar Ridge Reserve. If you’re the kind of person who would enjoy checking out a beautiful lake that is surrounded by trails, grasses, wild mammals, and other aspects which are entrenched in raw nature, this could definitely be a fun place to go to.

JOE POOL LAKE

If jet skiing, spending time in your boat, and lighting up your barbeque sounds like a fun idea, then make sure to head on over to Joe Pool Lake. This 1800+ acre marquee park is an approximate 20-minute drive from the Best Western hotel and has room for all sorts of different activities.

Big Texas Beer Fest 2020


Venture out to Dallas for the 9th annual Big Texas Beer Fest 2020, where it is expected that over 100 breweries will be in attendance, offering more than 450 fine and craft beers to thirsty festival goers.
